Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze was won with her balance bar. She was the first American to win the most medals at an Olympics. In 2016, she and the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to take home back-to-back golds at team events. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. After the 2 Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams in 2 World Championships. Her favourite event is floor exercise. The gymnastics training began at the age of two years old. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. In the future, she hopes to build a career in fashion. Aly would like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. She's writing a book called Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
